Battery and motor form a constant extra weight, which wants to be slowed down from time to time. Nevertheless, compromises in the braking distance are reluctant to accept and this is exactly where we started developing these special e-bike disc brake pads.

Miles customers appreciate the high and at the same time quiet braking power of our organic brake pads. This braking power is achieved through the softer padding material. The other side of the medal is, that a softer brake pad surface runs off faster than brake compounds with high metal content. This property was to be optimized and we did that. Our E-BIKE-COMPOUND has a higher Kevlar content. The result is quiet and reliable braking power, which is still convincing even at higher heat. Our E-BIKE brake pads last 30% longer than our standard organic brake pad series, but they are by no means to be reduced to use on e-bikes. They are also ideal for touring, trekking and mountain bike use in the flat to medium-sized terrain.
